The Greene County Rams placed second in a wrestling tournament in Carroll Dec. 21.
Manson-NWM won the tournament with 178 points. Greene County followed with 154 points, just ahead of Pocahontas Area with 151 points. Other team scores were as follows:
Guthrie Center, 127.5; Carroll, 103; Kuemper, 100; DM Roosevelt, 84; Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton, 70; and Denison-Schleswig, 65.
Four Rams were tournament champions. In first place were Jacob Challen at 120 pounds, Logan Scheuermann at 126 pounds, Jordan Challen at 132 pounds and Tommy Bradshaw at 138 pounds.
Rene Guzman (285 pounds) finished in second place, Jeremy Scheurmann (152) finished in third place, Hunter Ruth (170) and Tray Binkley (182) finished in fourth place, and Isaiah Yoder (160) finished in fifth place.
